Dub Cthonic are proud to be releasing the limited cassette edition of alt-electronic duo Thought Bubble’s new album ‘Primal Connection’. Following hot on the tail of their debut album ‘Around’ (one of our favourite albums of the year here at DCHQ), Primal Connection is an appropriately darker affair. Clocking in at just over an hour in length, these coiled, meditative pieces merge and swim, transporting the unsuspecting listener from one frame of mind to another.

Keyboardist Chris Cordwell and percussionist Nick Raybould have remained familiar faces on the UK’s underground psychedelic festival circuit, in several bands, keeping Thought Bubble as their cherished two headed side project, collaborating in concocting delicious darkness. Their well-received 2021 debut release stripped away the anonymity. And, as with its predecessor, this album features elements by Monkey Trial guitarist Shaun Bailey, again brought in to add his own shadowy texture.
